SYDNEY: Australia and Belgium have banned direct flights from India until May 15.
According to the foreign news agency, the reason for this decision is the extremely worrying situation of the coronavirus epidemic in India. According to Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison, the ban will remain in effect until at least mid-May.
Thousands of Australians, including many famous cricketers, have been stranded in India due to the ban and will not be able to return home by direct flights.
