Web Desk (August 25, 2018): Australian cricketer, Steven Smith models Boom Boom Afridi’s bowling style while wrecking havoc in Caribbean Premier League.
In Caribbean Premier League, suspended Australian cricketer and former captain, Steven Smith, who is representing Barbados Tridents, showed his outclass performance in Shahid Afridi style against Jamaica Tallawahs.

Smith was tossed the ball in the seventh over and went on to claim figures of 2-19, as he tried to bowl like Pakistan legend Shahid Afridi.
After the match, he said while crediting Shahid Afridi for change, that I’ve sort of changed a few things up, I’m trying to model my action on Shahid Afridi, pushing it through and try to bowl fast into the wicket.
Terming Shahid Afridi as a terrific leg-spinner, he said that I’m trying to base my action off Shahid Afridi actually and try and bowl quite fast and into the wicket, fortunately it worked tonight.
It is worth to mention here that the loss puts Tallawahs third on the points table.
