ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar will not be traveling to Bangladesh tomorrow due to a packed schedule.
As per detail, In his place, National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq will represent Pakistan at the funeral of former Bangladeshi Prime Minister Khaleda Zia, who had been battling serious illness for some time.
Sources noted that during an earlier visit to Bangladesh, Dar had personally visited Khaleda Zia’s residence to see her amid her declining health.
Sardar Ayaz Sadiq is now expected to attend both the official and family funeral ceremonies on Pakistan’s behalf.
