ISLAMABAD: Azerbaijan has introduced an e-visa system designed to streamline the visa application process for Pakistani travelers, making it more accessible and efficient.
Azerbaijan E-Visa Options
The country offers two types of e-visas:
- Standard e-Visa: Issued within three working days
- Urgent e-Visa: Approved within just three hours
Applicants receive an email notification about their visa status. If email communication is not received, applicants can verify their application status at www.evisa.gov.az/en/check-status.
Application Process
To apply for a visit visa, applicants must visit the ASAN viza portal at https://evisa.gov.az/en/. The process involves three simple steps: apply, pay, and download the e-visa, all completed online via the portal.
Visa Fees in Pakistan
- The fee for a single-entry 30-day e-visit visa to Azerbaijan is $20.
- An additional service charge of $9 applies for processing, bringing the total to $29 (approximately Rs. 8,190).
- For urgent processing, the fee is $50 (around Rs. 14,122), with approval within three to five hours.
Visa Duration
The e-visa allows entry into Azerbaijan for up to 90 days, with a stay permission of 30 days during this period.
