Quetta: Balochistan government will present upcoming fiscal year 2025-2026 budget on June 17.
According to the Balochistan government sources, the budget overall volume is likely to remain more than Rs 1000 billion.
Like previous fiscal year budget, this year budget will also be surplus. While Balochistan will get Rs 743 billion from federal revenue.
This amount will be given under the two grants which includes divisible pool revenue and direct revenue of natural resources including gas.
It is expected that Balochistan will get Rs 70 billion more from the federal revenue for the next fiscal year.
Earning estimation from provincial taxes and non taxes is likely to remain more than Rs 150 billion. While non development expenditure estimation could be more than Rs 700 billion in the next year budget.
It is likely that more than Rs 240 billion to be allocated for develeopment budget from the province own resources. More amount will be allocated for education, law and order and health and infrastructure sectors.
It is likely that more than Rs 160 billion will be allocated for the education. Whereas it is expected that staggering Rs 100 billion will be allocated for the law and order situation.
On the other hand, it is likely that Rs 80 billion will be allocated for the health.
It is expected that Balochistan government employees salaries will be raised as per the annoucement of the federal government.
