QUETTA: The government of Balochistan has introduced Pink Bus Service for women and female students as part of its New Year initiatives to provide safe, dignified, and affordable public transport across the province.
Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti highlighted that the service aims to enhance women’s daily mobility, granting them easier access to education, employment, and healthcare services.
He underscored that establishing a secure transportation system tailored for women is a pivotal aspect of the provincial government’s reform plans.
According to the chief minister, the Pink Bus Service will operate permanently and is set to expand into additional districts during the next phase.
He reiterated that empowering women through practical, impactful measures remains a top priority for the provincial administration.
In a message shared on the social media platform X, Mir Sarfraz Bugti reaffirmed his government’s dedication to ensuring the safety of women and promoting their active inclusion in public life.
