KARACHI: BankIslami Pakistan Limited has appointed Shahid Hussain Jatoi as Chairman of its Board of Directors for a three-year term starting August 10, 2026.
According to a notice issued to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the newly elected board approved Jatoi’s appointment at its first meeting held on August 10.
The board also decided that Rizwan Ata will remain President and Chief Executive Officer until the end of his existing term on September 28, 2026. BankIslami appreciated his contributions during his tenure.
Meanwhile, Imran Haleem Shaikh, currently the bank’s Deputy CEO, has been selected as the next President and CEO for a three-year term beginning September 29, 2026. His appointment remains subject to regulatory approval from the State Bank of Pakistan.
Established in 2004, BankIslami Pakistan Limited received its license as a Scheduled Islamic Commercial Bank in 2005 and commenced operations on April 7, 2006.
