Bearing Trend Continues At PSX

KARACHI: Bearish trend continued at Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on the consecutive second day as PSX 100 index benchmark closed at 36,404 points after losing 497 points.

As many as 317 companies’ shares were traded while prices of 65 companies’ shares went up and 232 companies’ shares prices declined.

The Pakistan Stock Exchange was bearish yesterday.

The KSE-100 Index closed yesterday at 36901.69 points as compared to 37292.47 points on the last working day with a negative change of 390.78 points.

The total turnover was 125,964,210 as compared to 77,355,570 on the last working day with Lotte Chemical having the highest turnover of 19,719,000.

Total 305 companies’ transacted shares in the Stock Market yesterday, out of which 62 recorded gains and 227 sustained losses whereas the share price of 16 companies remained unchanged.

Faisal Spinning recorded the maximum increase in its share price, which was 11.16 rupees while Rafhan Maize XD recorded a maximum decrease of 344.99 rupees.
