Karachi: The prices of vegetables and fruits skyrocketed before the commencing of holy moth of Ramazan in Karachi.
The prices of lemon became Rs 500 per Kg, onions prices turned Rs 300. Tomatoes are being sold on Rs 200 Kg.
On the other hand, Cantaloupes, musk-melon are being sold on a price of Rs 200 per Kg while potatoes prices turned Rs 80 per kg.
The Sindh government has started crackdown against profiteers in which as many as 137 peoples have been fined Rs 8,00,000.
