Islamabad: The Muttahida Quami Movement- Pakistan (MQM-P) high leadership on Tuesday, today said that firebrand if reaches on explosives then Karachi will blanket under the fire adding that the real reason behind Karachi’s bad law and order situation are owing to thief and police are being non locals.
Addressing a presser at National Press Club in Islamabad, the MQM-P Chief Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddique along with Dr Farooq Sattar, Syed Mustafa Kamal and other, said that the K-1V project has been pending for several years.
Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddique lamented that talking to the provinces are like crush your head against the wall.
He said that economic ethnic cleansing has been conducted in Karachi for 14 years. He said that a bill was passed recently to loot and occupy the whole city.
He was talking about the recent bill regarding Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA).
He said that nothing have been constructed in the city in the last 50 years adding that Karachi still neglected and providing 60 percent revenue to the national exchequer.
He said that dumpers running on Karachi roads are illegal and their owners and drivers are not local.
Maqbool, who also has a portfolio of education ministry, expresses his astonishment that what the system of our country is when the democracy comes to country than basic democracy ends.
He said that the the greatest water project for Karachi, K-IV has been suspended for many years.
He said that we have 90 percent of Karachi mandate adding that now we are going to avail constitutional and legal way.
Federal Minister for Health Syed Mustafa Kamal said that when we have powers of taking decisions then Karachi was developing.
Kamal said that every government comes to the MQM-P and promises with us.
He said that why didn’t we sit in the government adding we will join the next government as well.
He emphatically demanded that local governments powers should be transferred.
Senior leader Dr Farooq Sattar said that through our efforts electricity prices have been cut.
