Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) hearing the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) investigation of the Al Qadir trust and toshakhana cases against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief have broken.
The member of the bench hearing the cases of Al-Qadir trust and Toshakhana case regarding the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Justice Baber Sattar, seprated himself from the bench.
The division bench of the IHC was comprising Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Abdul Sattar.
Justice Baber Sattar has said that a person is arrested why the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is not investigating the person in its cases.
“I have an opinion that if a person is arrested then he will be declared in the other cases as well.” Baber Sattar said.
Latif Khosa, counsel of PTI chairman said “We are also talking the same on the issue.”
To which, Baber Sattar said that but you have brought the petitions to restore the bail petitions.
“We are saying that an interim bail of PTI chairman be restored.” Latif Khosa said.
A person has arrested so how his the interim bail can be restored.” Baber Sattar raised a point.
Latif Khosa apprised the court that the another bench of the court has restored the itnerim bails in six cases.
Honourable Baber Sattar said ” I have a difference of opinion the bench passed the order.”
He refused hearing of the case adding that the bench which passed the restoration of interim bails in six cases will hear the case.
