Bilawal Bhutto Once Again Demands Chairman Senate Resignation

ISLAMABAD: Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has once again demanded a resignation of Chairman Senate adding that rigging was conducted in the front of the whole nation.

In his statement, PPP Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that 64 members stood in the favor of a no-confidence motion against Chairman Senate Saddiq Sanjrani on August 2 while 50 votes were polled in secret ballot which is an open rigging in front of the country.

Bilawal Bhutto said that Chairman Senate Saddiq Sanjrani should tender resignation while he said that we have formed a fact-finding committee to carry out an inquiry of the whole matter while he said that after the committee report he will take action over the matter.

PPP Chairman said that “I take responsibility for my party while other party leaders should also take responsibility of their party in this matter.”

Bilawal Bhutto further added that if the joint opposition parties carry out a proper investigation into the matter then horse-trading can be eradicated for good.

He reminded Prime Minister Imran Khan in his statement that Imran Khan once had said that the secret voting was a root cause of the horse-trading.

The PPP Chairman expressed hope that now PM Imran Kha will support the opposition on the matter of the secret voting.
