Islamabad: A key government’s allied party, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Thursday directed their members of parliament to vote in favour of the budget besides being given awarness of his suggestions regarding the budget.
Bilawal instructed their MNA’s in the Parliamentary Party meeting in his chair today at the parliament house today in Islamabad where his younger sister Asifa Bhutto Zardari also attended the moot.
Bilawal was informed in the breifing on suggestions of the party adopted in the budget-2025-2026 that on the PPP recommendations budget of the Benazir Income Support Porgram was increased by 20 percent besides that on the demand of the PPP taxes on solar pannels were slashed by 50 percent.

Moreover, on suggestions of the PPP, the toughest amendments in the Federal Board of Revune (FRB) laws were removed along with government employees salaries were raised by 10 percent and pensions were hiked by seven percent.
The briefing also apprised that the salaried class were provided facility of not having any income tax on 1,00,000 salary on the demand of the PPP.
On the other hand, the federal government also restored allocated budget for the universities of Sindh on the demand of the PPP.
