KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Thursday visited the residence of Brigadier (R) Asad Munir and offered condolence to the bereaved family.
He was accompanied by Aseefa Bhutto Zardari. The heirs informed Bilawal and Aseefa about the reason due to which Asad had committed suicide.
Earlier in a day, Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Asif Saeed Khosa has taken notice of the suicide note written by Brig (R) Asad Munir and sought a detailed report from Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
On March 15, Brigadier (R) Asad Munir, Ex-Member State Capital Development Authority (CDA) had committed suicide in his house.
According to police, Asad Munir was found hanging from a ceiling fan in Diplomatic Enclave’s apartment.
