The Multan Bench of the Lahore High Court ordered FIA to register cases against the bloggers involved in the uploading of sacrilegious content on the social media.
Justice Muhammad Qasim Khan will hear the petition filed by Muhammad Ayub that says that the government has not taken any action against the sacrilegious content uploaded on the Facebook.
Petitioner Muhammad Ayub has named Federation of Pakistan, federal Interior Secretary and other departments as respondents.
A large number of Hig Court and District Bar lawyers were present during the hearing. Assistant Director FIA Legal Mumtaz Dogar was also present.
