Bohra community and Afghan refugees celebrating Eid ul-Adha with enthusiasm

WEB DESK: Several locations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are celebrating Eid ul-Adha today, including Afghan refugees who are observing the occasion.

The Bohra community is also celebrating Eid ul-Adha today. In Karachi, the Bohra community performed the Eid prayer followed by the sacrifice of animals.

On the other hand, Afghan refugees in Peshawar and various parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Hayatabad, Board Bazaar, Karkhano Market, Shamshto Camp, and Nisar Bagh, have performed Eid prayers today.

Additionally, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Information Advisor, Barrister Saif, stated that, the province has finalized a comprehensive cleanliness plan for Eid al-Adha. Under this plan, special attention is being given to Eidgahs, public spaces, and designated sacrificial sites.

He mentioned that all Eidgahs will be thoroughly cleaned prior to the prayers.

Environmentally friendly, biodegradable shopping bags are being distributed to citizens to help dispose of animal waste properly during the sacrifice.
