Peshawar: As many as 25 people were martyred while 95 others sustained injuries in a horrific bomb blast inside police lines mosque.
The zuhar prayers was being offered at the time of the blast while the bomb blast was carried out inside the mosque in police lines today this after noon. A Superintendent of Police (SP) is also among the injured.
The lady reading hospital (LRH) apprised that the operations of injured police personnel are being continued in the hospital.
Emergency has been imposed in all the hospitals of Peshawar.
The LRH further apprised that the most of the injured are in critical conditions.
The Peshawar police lines is situated in the red zone.
Civil Secretariat home ministry, Provincial Disaster Management Authority and Central Jail are situated near the Police lines Peshawar.
Rescue teams reached after the blast at the spot while the police cordoned off the area.
