Sao Paulo (September 03, 2018): Fire ablaze at Brazil’s ancient National Museum, in Rio de Janeiro. Fire fighters are still struggling to extinguish fire at museum.
A 200-year-old, ancient National Museum in Rio de Janeiro was hit by a massive fire, after closing on Sunday, which elgulfed whole building within minutes.

President of Brazil, Michel Temer took to Twitter to express his grief on the accident, and termed the accident as a saddening day for Brazil.Firefighters are tackling the blaze at the building, which contains more than 20 million items in its collection.
On the other hand, Director of National museum, while talking to Brazil TV, termed incident as cultural tragedy.This museum once served as the residence for the Portuguese royal family, and celebrated its 200-year anniversary earlier this year.
