Brazil President Dilma Rousseff suspended to face impeachment

Latin American country Brazil’s senate has voted for impeachment of President Dilma Rousseff after his suspension, while Supreme Court of the country had refused to barred impeachment motion on Wednesday.

Brazil senate session continued for more than twenty hours, on the occasion as many as 55 members voted for the suspension of the President whereas 22 opposed it.

After the senate decision the President has to face impeachment, while after suspension of the President vice-president Michael Temer has assumed responsibilities of President.

Suspended president has  accusations of tempering government accounts to hide increasing deficits which she denies.

The  impeachment process could be lasted for at least 180 days, hence, she will be suspended during Rio De Janeiro Olympics games starting from 5th August.
