Sahiwal: Bridegroom and bride were killed in a tragic traffic accident in Sahiwal on the National Highway.
According to the rescue sources the speedy car lost control and hit a tree in 12L 37 on the national highway in Sahiwal.
The bridegroom died on the spot while bride succumbed to her injuries in the hospital.
Two more women were also injured in the accident.
Whereas on receiving information about the accident Rescue 1122 arrived the spot and shifted the bodies and injured to a near-by hospital.
Owing to critical condition of the injured they were referred to the District Headquarter Hospital (DHQ) Sahiwal.
The barat was returning from Sindh while deceased and injured belonged to Patuki area of Punjab.
The Police Station Sadar handed over the bodies to their families after completing legal formalities.
