ISLAMABAD: Brigadier (Retd.) Asad Munir, Ex-Member State Capital Development Authority (CDA) has committed suicide, police said on Friday.
According to police, Asad Munir was found hanging from a ceiling fan in Diplomatic Enclave’s apartment.
Asad’s elder Khalid Munir confirmed the demise of his elder brother in a Twitter message.
He tweeted, “My elder brother Brig Asad Munir has passed away. Please pray for his maghfarat”.

Earlier on Thursday, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) approved for filing corruption reference against the former Member State CDA and other officials.
The approval was one of many that took place in an Executive board meeting of the bureau chaired by NAB Chairman Justice (Retd.) Javed Iqbal.
