Lahore: Former federal minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Khawaja Saad Rafique has said that no doubt fake news has become major problem but any government should not have unlimited powers to press people.
Khawaja Saad Rafique suggested that hold consultations over the PECA act 2025 with the media organizations.
For protection of basic human rights bring necessary amendments in PECA act 2025 in consultation with stake holders, he urged the government.
He opined that appeal right be given to high courts against the tribunal decisions.
He said that a law of stick always after changing times uses against those who makes it.
