Pakistan and Britain have agreed to strengthen ties in diverse fields including education and health.
The understanding came at a meeting between the British High Commissioner to Pakistan Dr. Christian Turner and Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz Sharif in Lahore today [Wednesday].
Appreciating the British cooperation for improvement in education, health, law and order and other social sectors, Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that Pakistan and the United Kingdom are important partners in the journey of development and prosperity.
On his part, British High Commissioner Christian Turner said that the English cricket team will visit Pakistan in September this year.
