ISLAMABAD: Bushra Bibi, the wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has said “I will be the last woman to leave D-Chowk without Imran Khan.” She further urged the workers to stay strong, making them promise not to leave D-Chowk until Imran Khan is freed.
In a passionate and determined speech, Bushra Bibi, the wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, made it clear that she would not leave Islamabad’s D-Chowk until her husband was released. Alongside Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, Bushra Bibi addressed a large crowd of PTI supporters who had gathered to show solidarity.
With unwavering conviction, she told the crowd, “If it were any other leader, they would have compromised, but Muslims do not harm Muslims. Why are we being targeted with shells?” She condemned the violence, questioning why peaceful protesters were being met with force. “We stand for peace, yet we are attacked. Don’t you know that Khan is fighting for truth and justice? He stands for what is right.”
In a powerful declaration, Bushra Bibi vowed, “I will be the last woman to leave D-Chowk without Imran Khan.” She urged the workers to stay united, rallying them to continue their struggle until Imran Khan’s release.
Meanwhile, Ali Amin Gandapur reinforced the message of peace and resilience, recalling how Imran Khan has always advocated for non-violence. “We will not move from D-Chowk until we receive direction from our leader,” Gandapur assured the crowd. As tensions escalate in Islamabad, with Rangers reclaiming control of D-Chowk, the PTI workers remain determined to hold their ground.
