MULTAN: On the occasion of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s visit to Multan, shops and medical stores on the route were closed in the name of security. The fasting people faced severe difficulties while several ambulances were stuck in traffic jams.
When Prime Minister Imran Khan arrived in Multan on a one-day visit, the administration closed all markets and medical stores along the route for security reasons.
Nishtar Hospital’s busiest road and other link roads were cordoned off, causing long queues of vehicles. Ambulances also got stuck in traffic in some places. Due to the extreme heat, the citizens became ill. In many places, there have been incidents of bitter rhetoric between citizens, traffic wardens and police personnel.
