ISLAMABAD: Canadian Foreign Minister Mark Garnio telephoned Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi. The two Foreign Ministers discussed bilateral relations and the evolving situation in Afghanistan.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that a peaceful and stable Afghanistan is of utmost importance not only for Pakistan but for the entire region.
The Foreign Minister briefed the Canadian Foreign Minister on the details of his recent four-nation visit to Afghanistan to work out a joint strategy on the situation in Afghanistan.
