WEB DESK: The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has issued a report claiming that the infamous Bashnoi Geng, involved in crimes such as extortion, murder, and violence, is allegedly executing operations in Canada under the direction of the Indian government.
The report emphasizes a rising presence of the Bashnoi Geng across Canadian territories. It characterizes the group as a violent criminal organization involved in various illegal activities including drug smuggling, money laundering, extortion, and targeted killings.
Canadian officials have indicated that the Bashnoi Geng’s activities in Canada are believed to be coordinated based on directives received from the Indian authorities.
Additionally, last year, British Columbia’s Premier, David Eby, urged the Canadian government to classify the Bashnoi Geng as a terrorist entity, raising alarms over its criminal conduct and alleged links to foreign influence.
