Islamabad: Caretaker set up 18-member cabinet has taken oath of their offices this evening.
President Dr Arif Alvi has administered oath from all the 18-member cabinet ministers at Aiwan-e-Sadar Islamabad.
The seven special assistants to the PM are included in the cabinet.
The Ministers in care taker cabinet include Foreign Minister Jalil Abbassi Jilani, Federal Minister for trade and Industry, Dr Gohar Aijaz, Federal Minister for Interior Sarfaraz Bugti,
Besides that Federal Minister for IT and Telecom Umar Saif, Federal Minister for Law Ahmed Irfan Aslam, Federal Minister for culture, actor Jamal Shah, Federal Minister for religious affairs Aniq Ahmed are also included in the interim set up.
Moreover, Federal Minister for Defence, Lt gen (retd) Anwar Ali Hyder, Federal Minister for health Dr Nadeem Jan, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Murtaza Solangi are also part of the caretaker cabinet.
The portfolio of Shahid Ashraf Tarrar has not been announced yet.
