ISLAMABAD: A case has been registered regarding the murder of well-known TikTok star Sana Yousuf in Islamabad. According to the complaint filed by the victim’s mother.
The incident occurred on Monday evening at around 5 PM, when the accused entered their house.
As per the details of the case, the accused opened fire on Sana Yousuf, hitting her with two bullets in her chest. After the shooting, the suspect fled the scene. Sana Yousuf was immediately taken to the hospital in a wounded condition, but she succumbed to her injuries.
Police have stated that the suspect can be identified if seen. A case has been registered, and an investigation has been initiated.
The motive behind the murder remains unclear but intial reports suggest that there is a potential of an honor-based killing.
The dead body was shifted to PIMS Hospital for medico-legal purposes where a postmortem was completed, and the body was handed over to her family afterwards.
According to police, initial evidence has been collected from the crime scene, and police are obtaining CCTV footage from nearby cameras to aid the investigation to bring the alleged killer to justice.
