Lahore (August 03): Capital Development Authority (CDA) has served notice to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Aleem Khan over violation of building code.
CDA has decided to launch criminal proceeding against Aleem Khan as his private housing society committed the violation of building code. Aleem khan is directed to appear before the authority on August 08.According to the details, CDA has issued 10 notices against the housing society since 2017 but the housing society put the notices aside and continued violation of building code. Aleem carried on construction work of the society against the IHC orders.
According to the notice, if Aleem does not appear before the authority, the case will be forwarded to registrar cooperative housing societies and will cancel the layout plan of the housing society.
Earlier the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has re-summoned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Aleem Khan for August 08 in a case of having assets beyond known sources of income.According to a source, the NAB issued him another notice to reappear before a combined investigation team after his reply failed to satisfy it.
“Aleem Khan had submitted a reply to NAB on July 30 regarding his assets beyond known sources of income but it rejected it,” he said.
Aleem Khan was asked to explain about sources of income to justify his properties in the UK and UAE, the source said.
The NAB is also investigating the affairs of an offshore company of Aleem Khan.
It has also summoned Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Pervaiz Elahi for Aug 16 in a case of having assets beyond known sources of income.
