ISLAMABAD: Despite the suspected suicide attack on a census team in Lahore, the Statistic Division said that the census exercise will go on as per schedule across the country and blast will not affect it.
A spokesman of Statistic Division said that the objectives of Lahore blast was to create fear and panic among the official engaged in the exercise.
He added that despite the attack the exercise will go on as per the schedule. The department said that security arrangements would be improved further.
It is to be mentioned here that six people including four security personnel were martyred when a van carrying the census staff was targeted in Lahore by a suspected suicide bomber.
