Multan: A three-day ceremonies related to 708th death anniversary of sufi saint Hazrat Shah Rukun Din Alam Suharwardi (R.A) has commenced in Multan.
Sajjada Nashin and custodian of the Mausoleum of Shah Rukn-e-Alam, Shah Mahmood Qureshi showered the Mausoleum with rose water and laid floral wreath and special prayers were held as well by the Sajada Nasheen.
Addressing a national conference in the premises of the mausoleum, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that the horrific incident of Sialkot is against the teachings of Islam and our beloved prophet(PBUH) Khatamun Nabiyeen.
He said that our constitution gives protection to minorities while these incidents add miseries for the country and the world gets chance to point fingers on Pakistan.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that exemplary punishment will be given to culprits involved in the incident so that no body can dear to defame Pakistan.
