Beijing: Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Qamar Zaman Chaudhry has called on Governor of Xinjiang province Shahrat Zakir while he also met Director General (DG) anti corruption.
In the meeting with Chinese DG anti corruption, Qamar Zaman said that corruption affects the society like cancer while Chinese official praised the NAB efforts to stop corruption.
The Chairman also met with mayor of Aromchi, during the meeting the two people discussed bilateral relations. Chairman NAB said that the institution has been established to eradicate corruption and recover looted money from corrupt.
He also highlighted three layer strategy of NAB that is of awareness, prevention, implementation of law. The chairman also briefed about how complaints regarding corruption are registered and procedure of screening, investigation and later court proceeding for the case.
It is pertinent to metion here that the NAB chairman is in China on official visit.
