Islamabad: The person who set the National Data Base Registration Authority (NADRA) on modern lines and brought revolutionary reforms in it, Tariq Malik, tendered his resignation today while Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif accepted his resignation.
The outgoing Chairman NADRA, Tariq Malik stated political tension behind his resignation.
Sources said that before tendering his resignation, he called on the premier and tendered his resignation to him. The PM expressed his best wishes for him and accepted his resignation.
On the other hand, the government has placed Tariq Malik name temporary stop list.
