ISLAMABAD: Chairman Senate Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has extended heartfelt congratulations to General Syed Asim Munir on his promotion to the rank of Field Marshal, marking a significant milestone in Pakistan’s military history.
In his congratulatory message, Gilani praised General Munir’s exceptional military strategy and leadership during recent heightened tensions with India. He noted that under General Munir’s command, Pakistan’s armed forces not only delivered a robust response to the adversary but also effectively highlighted the country’s defense capabilities on a global scale. Gilani emphasized that this strategic leadership has further strengthened Pakistan’s national defense on solid foundations.
