Chairman Senate Raza Rabbani angered by fed ministers’ non-serious attitude

ISLAMABAD: Chairman Senate Raza Rabbani expressed anger at the non-serious attitude of the  federal ministers commenting on Anusha Rahman’s failure to attend the session to present Cyber Crime Bill that it looks as if the government does not want the bill passed. The ministries of Foreign Affairs, Education, and Health submitted the written replies.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs replied that between 2011 to 2016 India arrested 450 Pakistani fishermen of which 395 have been released. Pakistan contacts India on receiving any news of its arrest by India, he added.

Education Minister Baleeghur Rahman replied that from January 2015 till now 348 male and female students were sent overseas for further education of which 155 were from Punjab; 71 from Sindh; 57 from Balochistan; 40 from KPK; 12 from Gilgit Baltistan; 10 from Azad Kashmir; and three from Islamabad.

The reply submitted by Health ministry said that a 500-bed hospital is being constructed in Islamabad at the cost of Rs 21 billion and its feasibility report has been completed.
