According to media, as soon as the ticket booking time started today, a race to book tickets began between fans from both countries. The tickets for the Pakistan-India match were sold out in less than an hour.
Reports suggest that as soon as ticket sales for the Pakistan-India clash began, the booking website was flooded with traffic. Approximately 140,000 fans showed interest in securing tickets online, and within an hour, all tickets for the February 23 match between Pakistan and India were sold out.
Many fans complained that they were unable to get tickets and expressed disappointment that they wouldn’t be able to watch the Pakistan-India match in the stadium.
The minimum price for tickets for this crucial match in Dubai was 500 dirhams (38,000 Pakistani rupees), while the most expensive pass was priced at 12,500 dirhams. In addition, tickets were also available for 1,000, 1,200, 2,500, and 5,000 dirhams.
It’s worth noting that the opening match of the ICC Champions Trophy will be played in Karachi on February 19, and the tournament will continue until March 9.
A total of 15 matches will be played in the Champions Trophy between 8 countries. The matches will take place in Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Dubai, and all matches will be day and night games. The Indian team will play all its matches at the neutral venue in Dubai.
