Karachi: Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) leader Mola Bakhsh Chandio has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has shown distrust over his economic team by meeting International Monetary Fund head.
In a press statement issued from Hyderabad, the former provincial information minister said that calling on to IMF chief is a responsibility of finance minister instead of the premier.
The PPP leader said that Imran Khan is the first leader who himself met with IMF head as it was showed that Imran Khan admitted his finance team unable to talks.
He reminded that the PM had claimed in past that contact to IMF would have been tantamount to suicide if elected PM, however, Imran Khan distracted from his promise.
Chandio sarcastically said that what Imran Khan demanded to IMF nothing but begging.
