Lahore: Federal Minister for interior Shaikh Rasheed has claimed that distances have created between Shahbaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz while change is about to come in Pakistani politics.
Addressing a presser in Rawalpindi Shaikh Rasheed Ahmed said that the opposition could not ousted the government in the last three years adding that Prime Minister Imran led Pakistan Tehreek-Insaf (PTI) is going to form the government in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) while some people will withdraw their nomination papers until tomorrow.
The Interior Minister said that the opposition has recognized that the PTI government will remain in power for the next two years. He said that distances have created between Maryam Nawaz and Shahbaz Sharif adding that the both have different style of the politics while he declared Bilawal a child adding that one should not take him seriously.
Shaikh Rashed said that overseas Pakistanis can’t be neglected and we will give them right of vote adding that they will vote for Prime Minister Imran Khan. He said that nothing happens with the presence and absence of Shahbaz Sharif and the budget has approved even.
Responding to a question, the Interior Minister urged the opposition parties to sit with the government to introduce electoral for transparent elections in the future.
He said that he wanted to establish better relations with the opposition
He said that fencing along the Afghan border will be completed within two months.he said work on fencing along the border with Afghanistan has been done by eighty-eight percent while forty-six percent on the Iranian border.
The Minister said Pakistan is not allowing anyone to use its land against any country, and other countries should also ensure it.
He said India would desire that peace is not established in Afghanistan; however, Pakistan has been making sincere efforts for peace in Afghanistan.
Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said Pakistan wants to have good relations with all countries, including India. However, he said, India will have to give right to self-determination to the oppressed Kashmiris.
Condemning the Indian Home Ministry for baseless allegation of Pakistan’s role in a drone attack in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, he said India wants to hide its failure in addressing the Covid-19 challenge through such allegations.
