KARACHI: The third anniversary of the martyrdom of SSP Chaudhry Muhammad Aslam is being observed today.
The widower of the slain cop is expected to make an important announcement today on his third death anniversary.
The valiant cop fought against terrorists, criminals and gangsters throughout his career for restoration of peace in the financial hub of the country. He was martyred in suicide attack on his convoy on Lyari Expressway some three years ago today.
Aslam was born in Dhodhial area of Mansehra. He received his early education from his ancestral village after which his family was shifted to Karachi. He did his graduation from Karachi and afterward joined Sindh Police.
Aslam was one of the dreaded cop for terrorists of all shades. His services for establishing peace in the city could not be forgotten and he will be remembered forever.
