Taxila (February 10, 2018): Former Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Saturday threatened to public the Dawn Leaks report if the PML-N would not convene the central executive committee meeting to discuss the issue.
Addressing a press conference in Taxila, the former interior minister said that he had never criticized Maryam Nawaz or Nawaz Sharif and had just said that he could not work under the children as it was against his dignity.
“I had never said that I could not work under Nawaz Sharif or Shahbaz Sharif,” he said adding but obviously I could not work under Maryam Nawaz.
Nisar said that he remained sidelined from the party activities due to differences over party decisions and to give him some time.
“The suggestions I have given to the party leadership are open in front of all and not only me but many in the PML-N rank are against the policy of confrontation with the judges,” he said.
He said that he is considered as a critique of Nawaz Sharif and had given his critical views in the cabinet meeting. “My suggestions in Panama case are on record,” he said.
Chaudhry Nisar expressed his concerns and reservations over the way party affairs are being conducted and said that the loss party would suffer from it would be evident in few days.
Speaking regarding recent divisions among MQM-P ranks, the PML-N stalwart said that division at such level in any party should be a matter of concern for anybody. He, however, hoped that MQM is a political party and would soon resolve its issues.
