Karachi: Gulshan Iqbal Police has registered a case of cheating and fraud against Chairman Bahria Town Malik Riaz and his son Ali Malik. AbbTakk news reported
According to police officials, Sind Building Control Authority( SBCA) officials allegedly issued three ‘dishonor’ checks worth over Rs. 182 million against Malik Riaz and his son Ali Malik for permission to advertise their project in Bahria Town Karachi Filed a criminal case for submission.
According to the FIR, an investigation was conducted against Bahria Town for concealing facts and making False statements. Behria Town sought NOC for sale and promotion of its residential project and approved layout.3 checks of Sind Bank were submitted to SBCA on behalf of Bahria Tolwn the case was registered against Zaheer Qureshi, Deputy Director of SBCA
On the other hand, Sind Building Control Authority has also stopped the Bahria Town administration from buying and selling land. According to the Sind Building Control Authority, several show cause notices were also issued to Bahria Town but Bahria Town did not respond to the issued show cause notices , due to non-response to the show cause notices and scrutiny fee NOC of Bahria Town has been canceled due to non-payment of dues
