BEIJING: At least 17 people were killed and 37 others injured as 56 vehicles smashed together on an snowy motorway in China.
According to Xinhua, the official news agency of China said that a total of 17 people died and 37 others were injured after 56 vehicles piled up on a Beijing-Kunming expressway in north China’s Shanxi Province on Monday. The accident happened at 9 am local time due to heavy snowfall in China.
Bodies and injured were shifted to the hospital by the rescue officials in China.
