Beijing (Sep 09, 2017): China has appreciated Pakistan’s efforts in war against terrorism and its contribution for the international counter-terror cause.
Member Political Bureau of Communist Party of China Meng Jianzhu expressed the appreciation during a meeting with Pakistan Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif, who is on a visit to China.
Meng Jianzhu said that Pakistan and China should deepen anti-terror cooperation.
The Foreign Minister said that Pakistan was willing to keep close cooperation with China in combating terrorism.
Khawaja Asif is on a visit to China along with Advisor to Prime Minister on National Security Lt. Gen Nasir Janjua to consult regional allies over the new US policy for Afghanistan and South Asia.
Yesterday, Asif and his Chinese counterpart held details discussion over US Afghan policy, regional issues and Afghan issue. At a joint press conference along with Asif, Chinese FM had appreciated Pakistan efforts to peace and stability, reaffirming Chinese support to its most important ally in the region for its anti-terrorism efforts.
