RIYADH: China and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) have agreed to enhance collaboration across various areas including energy, technological innovation, and cultural exchanges.
This consensus was reached during a meeting held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, between Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and GCC Secretary General Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi.
During the talks, Wang Yi emphasized China’s readiness to partner with GCC nations to further develop the Belt and Road Initiative and to expand mutually advantageous cooperation.
Albudaiwi highlighted the strong friendship between the GCC countries and China, expressing optimism about deepening their partnership across different fields.
