Islamabad (March 01, 2018): Xu Wnhong, the Deputy General Secretary One Belt One Road called on National Security Adviser Nasser Khan Janjua in Islamabad on Thursday.
They discussed regional security situation and various aspects of One Belt One Road vision of China. Nasir Khan Janjua said Pakistan considers China its trustworthy friend and strategic partner.
He expressed satisfaction over the increasing ties and cooperation between the two countries. Deputy Director said China is always ready for regional prosperity and increasing two-way cooperation.
Earlier, Chinese Ambassador Yao Jing was called on Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Zubair Mahmood Hayat in Rawalpindi.
Matters related to changing geostrategic environment and further strengthening of security and defence cooperation were discussed during the meeting.
Both sides reaffirmed the resolve for the furtherance of deeper strategic ties.
The Ambassador applauded the professionalism of Pakistan Armed Forces and acknowledged sacrifices made by Pakistan in the war against terrorism.
