China rejects Indian PM’s propaganda against Pakistan

BEIJING: China’s official response has once again come out as a huge disappointment for Indian government, as China once again stood against the Indian government’s propaganda against Pakistan.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying, during a briefing in Beijing, said that Pakistan has offered enormous sacrifices in war against terrorism. The spokesperson asked about Modi’s comments, saying that China opposed all forms of terrorism and that the international community should increase counter-terrorism cooperation.

Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson also said that terrorism cannot be linked to any religion.

“We oppose the linking of terrorism to any specific country, ethnicity or religion. This is China’s consistent position and is against linking any country to terrorism,” she said during her briefing in Beijing.

She continued that international community should respect sacrifices offered by Pakistan, adding that Pakistan and China are friendly countries and both countries extended best diplomatic relations.

“Everyone knows that Pakistan herself is the victim of terrorism. Pakistan has made huge efforts and great sacrifices in fighting terrorism. I think the international community should respect this,” Hua added.

It must be pertinent to recall that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during the BRICS summit in India, had declared Pakistan as the mother ship of all terrorism in the region.

Narendra Modi had also asked the BRICS leaders to condemn Pakistan spreading terrorism in the region, however the Modi government had to face huge disappointment as both China and Russia have refused to fulfill the Modi government’s desires.
