ISLAMABAD: Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan on Thursday called on Naval Chief Admiral Zafar Mehmood Abbasi to discuss Sino-Pak defence cooperation in the maritime sector and discussed affairs pertaining to the regional security.
As per details, Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jing met with Naval Chief Admiral Zafar Mehmood Abbasi in the Naval Head Quarter (NHQ) Islamabad.
According to the spokesperson of Pakistan Navy, “Both dignitaries discussed the affairs pertaining to the progress on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and maritime security during the meeting.”
“Chinese Ambassador also applauded Pakistan Navy’s professionalism and role in maintaining peace in the maritime frontiers of Pakistan.
