RAWALPINDI: Commander People Liberation Army, Western Theater, China General Zhao Zongqi called on Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Bajwa in Rawalpindi.
The Chinese Commander congratulated the Army Chief him for assuming the command of Pakistan Army.
They discussed the matter related to regional security and matters of professional interest.
Visiting General loaded Pakistan’s Army’s achievements in the fight against terrorism and continued efforts for regional peace and stability. General Qamar Bajwa reaffirmed Pakistan Army’s unwavering support for CPEC security.
Earlier, on his arrival a smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Army presented guard of honour to the visiting dignitary. General Zhao Zongqi also laid floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada.
