CHUNIAN: The evidence in the form CCTV recordings in Chunian tragedy has been lost due to the police negligence, sources said on Monday.
According to sources, police have not even watched the CCTV footage of the places from where minor boys were abducted in the month of September.
The CCTV cameras fixed in the area keep the records for only 10 to 15 days, sources informed.
Sources said that the suspects could be traced easily if police acquired the CCTV recordings of different areas.
Meanwhile, the police acquired data of around 20,000 calls with the help of geofencing while police officers of other districts have also been summoned to Chunian to fasten the investigation.
